VTS-1 is using a beveled surface for the height adjustment. And because of the ratio for bevel length and the Z-axis height is 2:1, the resolution can achieve 5 um.

 

VTS-3, VTS-4, and VTS-5 are using Pricinple of the Lever to adjust the micrometer horizontally. 

 

VTS series is designed with V-grooved crossed roller guides, and it provides great moving stability and parallelism.
